I can just picture soaring down Brooklyn hills on this bike. It's pretty much perfect for a cool summer night (of which this weekend saw many! Thank you, weather gods).

Bigger.
I should really stop using the "blog this picture" function on Flickr. It's awesome and convenient, but the bigness and wonderfulness of the bike isn't usually shown as easily. I snapped this one on the way to a late dinner with my boyfriend this weeked; my phone captured it in the darkness surprisingly well.

Sad but pretty
It almost looks like a ghost bike.

I found this "blue spray-painted to white" skeleton of a cruiser this morning. I think I've seen it before, but not here. Strange that it would get moved, in its condition?

There could be nothing better
Isn't this just perfect?

I saw it while walking to meet my best friend for burritos yesterday evening. Even though it gets dark sooo late in NY lately, the light bulb still made it.

no what??
I saw the saddest sign while walking from dinner to Tasti D'Lite this evening. There were two of them on the same fence. It's such a good gate to hook a bike up to, also. I guess that's the owners' point. :\

dark grey & lavender handlebars
I saw this on my way somewhere this morning. What a nice color combination, I don't know if I would have thought of it.

Very nice
This is my good friend's boyfriend's Bianchi. It's gorgeous. He was cautious of my photographing it; he mentioned that putting exact street corners down for lovely bikes might make it easy for them to be stolen (he noticed another beautiful Bianchi on this blog and mentioned that another fan (a creepy one) could have easily scouted that area to find it).
So, good point. I won't be posting locations of bikes anymore. This photo may or may not have been taken in Queens. Or SoHo. You'll never know! Thanks for the tip, sir.

pretty.
I went on a long walk with my friend Roxy last Sunday... this was right outside SoundFix, which was our final destination. My favorite part is the white seat with the seafoam body. so pretty.
right inside the front door of Naked.
This is the second beautiful and mysterious bike I have seen in my office. It's a Peugeot. gorgeous.

Beautiful Bianchi
I saw this gorgeous bike in Brooklyn over the weekend. Tonight I saw another amazing Bianchi and forgot to take a photo... I like the stripey stickers they have on them. Every one I have seen has been so shiny also.

orange!
This bike was very, very bright. Greene Street between Prince and Spring in SoHo, NYC. The bike is not there this morning (I saw it yesterday afternoon); in its place right now are Pat Field, Lucy Liu and the rest of the cast /crew of Cashmere Mafia, filming.

v.nice
What a cute pink and gray bike! I was walking to a diner with my roommate on Sunday evening when I saw this, on N Henry just off of Driggs. My roommate mentioned that it looks like the kinds of bikes people rode in 1990. This was when I found out that she had a bike like this when she was eight.

a bike in Je'Bon
While I don't particularly love this bike, I thought it was cool to photograph one that was inside. I don't get to do that often. It was in a noodle bar on St. Mark's Place called Je'Bon. See the shrine right in front of it?

SO SAD
I saw this on Lorimer Street in Greenpoint, just west of where it intersects Bedford and Nassau (Brooklyn). It's beautiful. And I almost cried.

my bike's twin!
I was walking home this afternoon and stopped dead in my tracks. This is my exact same bike, but for boys. brand, color, seat, handlebars, everything. aw, if only I had a boy who owned this bike. We would make everyone throw up from our cuteness. This was on N10th and Bedford, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

pretty.
I saw this on the corner of W3rd and Thompson while I was waiting for Joshua Rubin at Half Pint in the West Village. It doesn't look like a serious bike (but what does "serious bike" even mean?), but I liked the color. It jumped out at me.

nice.
I felt true summer when I saw this. Well, maybe if the seat and handlebars were white (I seem to always say that). This cutie was on 1st Ave. and Allen in the Lower East Side. Roxy and I were walking home from Pianos.

One inside!
Isn't this bike a beauty? I don't know who it belonged to, but it was parked right inside our front door at work. I'm not going to tell you our address (somewhere in Manhattan).

gorgeous.
As I stumbled out of Hanger Bar in a haze last night (it was around 12.45am), I stopped dead at this bike. It was so beautiful, guys. The handlebars match the frame. I mean, come on. Maybe it would have been perfect with a white seat, but I loved it to death. I wanted it to be Tony's sister. This girl cruiser was on 3rd Street and Avenue B in the Lower East Side, Manhattan. The photo is a bit blurry because I didn't use flash... the flash photo I took is more clear, but takes away the richness. So here you have it, guys. Love.

It's spring.
Adorable, yes? It would be even perfect with a white seat. Or a blue one, like the one I saw in Williamsburg last... September, I think. This bike was on N11th & Berry, in Williamsburg. One could argue that it's actually Greenpoint, though, I think.
Team Awesome
Tony and I rode with a bike crew last night called Team Awesome for a little while. I haven't felt a rush quite like that in ages and ages. We went from Maujer & Union in Williamsburg through Greenpoint. My friend Adrian introduced me to them.
